1.2 If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who will be deemed to have accepted these Terms on your behalf.
1.3 The Platform is currently intended for students seeking admission to colleges in the state of Karnataka, India, based primarily on KCET and related criteria.
Scope of Services
2.1 CampusVista.ai provides an online Platform that:
- Collects information such as your KCET score, category, preferences, and other academic details.
- Generates an indicative college wish-list based on your inputs and publicly available/derived data.
- May connect you with counsellors, partner institutions, or other third-party service providers, where applicable.
2.2 We do not conduct admissions, guarantee seats, or influence admission decisions of any college, university, or authority.
2.3 Our wish-lists, recommendations, and insights are indicative and for informational purposes only. Final admission decisions rest solely with the relevant authorities and institutions.
Registration and Account
3.1 To access certain features, you may be required to register and create an account on the Platform.
3.2 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated at all times.
3.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.4 You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
Use of the Platform
4.1 You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful activity.
- Scrape, copy, download, or harvest data from the Platform for commercial or competitive purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, servers, or related systems.
- Upload or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.

Data, Inputs, and Recommendations
5.1 The quality and relevance of the college wish-list and recommendations depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide (e.g., KCET score, category, preferences).
You acknowledge that:
- Cut-offs, seat availability, reservation policies, and admission rules are determined by external authorities and institutions.
- Such information may change without notice, and we may not always reflect real-time updates.
- Our outputs are indicative and should be used as guidance, not as a substitute for official notifications or counselling.
5.3 You are solely responsible for verifying all information with official sources (e.g., KEA, college websites, official brochures) before making any decisions.
Payments and Fees
6.1 Certain services on the Platform may be offered on a paid basis ('Paid Services'). Details of applicable fees will be displayed at the time of purchase.
6.2 Unless expressly stated otherwise, all fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable.
6.3 Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full payment instrument details.
6.4 Any issues relating to payment failures, chargebacks, or refunds may be subject to the terms of the payment gateway and your bank/card issuer.
Intellectual Property
7.1 All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, interfaces, software, algorithms, and compilations ('Content'), is owned by CampusVista or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
7.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform and Content for your personal, non-commercial use only.
7.3 You shall not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any Content without our prior written consent.
User Content
8.1 You may provide information, feedback, queries, or other content ('User Content') on or through the Platform.
8.2 By submitting User Content, you grant CampusVista a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, modify, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
8.3 You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit such User Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

9.1 The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources, including college websites, government portals, or partner platforms.
9.2 These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, policies, or practices.
9.3 Your use of third-party sites and services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.

- The recommendations or wish-lists generated will result in actual admission to any college or program.
11.3 CampusVista may share your personal data with authorised counsellors, partner institutions, or service providers strictly for the purpose of providing counselling support, responding to your request, or enabling services opted by you. Such sharing shall be based on your consent and in accordance with applicable law.
